Scarcely more than rubble and ruin is left of the once thriving Yugoslav city of Skopje. Rescue teams continue to discover survivors almost miraculously among the ruins; but even so the death toll is expected to reach 1500 and the city itself, already 90 percent demolished will not be rebuilt. Harriman Reports To President

Windmills Are Tourist Attraction
Tourists with an eye and a camera for the past, flock to the tiny Dutch town of Kinderdijk, where seventeen windmills, two hundred years old, are put into operation during July and August. A bullet-ridden jeep in a South Korean ravine is grim evidence of the ambush that cost the lives of two American soldiers serving with the United Nations command here. Beligan Farmers Protest Taxes
Belgian farmers march on the provincial capital of Le Mons in protest against various taxes, principally that on automobile wheels. The demonstration gets out of hand, with rocks and vegetables being hurled at the gendarmes. Automobile tires are burned in smoking protest against the levies. Missliles And Sun-Worshippers
The French Island of Levant, long a haunt of sun-worshippers, becomes a space center with a missile launching station installed here. Scientists tracking missile 'Berenice' are somewhat distracted by misses who may or may not be named Berenice, but who cares? France Little pleasure and sail boats in the cove of the island. MS - Girls dressed in bikinis or topless laying on the rocks sunbathing. MCUS - On the other side of the island scientist and technicians bring in a small launching pad and rockets. CUS - A clock with the seconds ticking away, it hits zero hour and the rocket is launched, rising off the portable launching pad and making its way into space. The play-off of the Western Open golf tourney in Chicago is a showdown of the season's top-money champs; and it's Arnold Palmer who edges out Jack Nicklaus by one strike and Julius Boros by three to take the cup and the $11,000 that goes with it. World Scouts Meet: Jamboree Opens In Historic Greece
The historic plains of Marathon, a Greek battlefield 25 centuries ago, is the scene of the Eleventh Boy Scout World Jamboree. Rusk Testifies After Mission To Moscow
Dean Rusk has busy days on the international front. Senator Carey Estes Kefauver was catapulted into nation-wide fame through the racket investigations he headed in 1951. His probing of the underworld led the next year to the Democratic convention where he sought the Presidential nomination. He lost out to Adlai Stevenson then and in 1956 was Vice-Presidential nominee. Senator Kefauver had a long and honorable career. His colleagues called him a public servant of the utmost integrity.

West Berliners honor those who died fleeing to freedom as they mark the second anniversary of the Wall Of Hate that splits the city.
