Tape 2021 Part 1 MS of nest in a tree. Adult Red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) at nest while young have a scuffle. The young are fairly large, but still have a fair amount of down. They are not chicks, but juveniles. 2 juvenile red-tailed hawks in nest. They sit up high on the edge of the nest. Hawks preening (grooming). Adult red-tail hawk flies in with chipmunk and drops it in the nest. Young red-tail hawk tries to eat chipmunk (soft focus). Young red-tail hawk attacks sibling. The victim almost falls out of the nest. 2 Young red-tail hawk in nest. MS Adult red-tail hawk flies in and lands on nest with young, then flies off again
