A Matter Of Life - Re-created documentary film for St. Joseph County Cancer Society, following a man who discovers that he has cancer, and is cured of it. 18.42 Behind the scenes in a 1950s TV station as it presents a live production. (Men operating television cameras, etc.) 19.04 Titles are on studio flip-cards. 19.24 In studio, director points to talent for action. Bob Fuller thanks those who helped cure his cancer. 19.56 Bob Fuller, a machinist, working in the shop. He has stomach cramps, but he ignores them and discards "Cancer Facts for Men" pamphlet. 20.18 At home Bob refuses dinner and his wife phones the doctor 20.42 Exam by the doctor. Doctor uses stethoscope. 20.53 Doctor tells him he has cancer; doctor gives him the pamphlet he had discarded, and this time he learns the 7 danger warning signs; 21.50 Wife grieves at the news.
