Scenes of royal pomp and panoply unfold in the Hague with the opening of the Dutch Parliament. In traditional ceremony that has changed little through the years, the queen rides in her coach of state to Knight's Hall where the parliament has met to hear their sovereign. Establishing shot - Dutch soldiers dressed up in their special wardrobe wear march down the street holding rifles on their soldiers. MS - The Royal Gold Coach moves through jam packed streets. MS a group of Dutch police officers standing in a group at attention holding their rifles. MCUS - Prince Bernhard, Queen Juliana and Princess Beatrix who now is 18 years old step out of the royal carriage that took them to Knights Hall. LL - Knights hall. MS - Queen Juliana speaks present problems. MCUS - Princess Beatrix sitting in a chair not looking too happy. MWALS - The police holding back the crowd. The Royals, Queen Juliana, Prince Bernhard and Princess Beatrix step on to the balcony and wave to the people. MS - The crowd, when they see Queen Juliana, Prince Bernhard and Princess Beatrix they start waving to the Royals.
