With Bavarian mountain streams more turbulent than ever, swollen with melting snows from the surrounding mountains. Frail kayaks and rugged oarsmen challenge the roaring stream in a thrilling contest. Establishing shot - Kayaker starts the race by getting a gentle push from one of the officials. CUS - Sports spectators cheering on the athletes. LL - Kayaker paddling through a tumultuous down drop in the white water, spectators standing at the edge of the landscape looking on at the amount of turbulence in the water. CUS - A Kayak competitor paddling in the white water. CUS - As the Kayakers make their way through the white water many flip over. MS - A kayak-er that has flipped swims through the water making his way to shore. The people standing on the shore help him out of the water. CUS - The winner
