Steak derby in San Francisco. Hearty trenchermen sit down before a groaning board, heavily laden with succulent steaks, for the first International Eating Race of its kind. Forks fly as the winner downs 6 pounds in 6 minutes. Establishing shot - 12 grown men sitting at a oblong table getting ready to be served steaks in a eating contest. CUS - One of the men eating his steak, yum, yum. CUS - Another contestant eating and enjoying his intake of steak. CUS - Audience standing around the contestants applauding. MLS - Contestants and Chief standing by one of the contestants. CUS - The winner, Jimmy Colonie of Woodland is declared the winner chewing his way to victory in 6 minutes and 36 seconds. CUS - Miss Steak crowns the winner of the Steak Derby, 1956 and gives him a quick kiss.
