Rep. Dan Reed explains stand on tax reductions, and vows to fight on until successful. (Buffalo and Washington, DC Only). "I realize that the question of revenue is not particularly interesting to the people to hear me talk about it. But the fact is that the revenue laws effect the lives of practically every person in the United States. Therefore I figure that you would be patient enough to hear some of my views in regard of taxation. I endeavor to reduce the personal income taxes by introducing HR-1at the beginning of this session. Unfortunately I was unable to get it through the congress. I wanted to give the people a tax break of about 11% on July 1st. I shall keep up the fight to give the people some tax relief. Their entitled to it".
