Dull in imagery and contrast, DOS An ammunition train is derailed-and the town of Lewis is devastated. Only ten houses are left habitable, but injuries are slight, and there are no deaths, a near-miraculous escape. Establishing shot - The town of Lewis and the remains of the once standing homes. MLS - Derailed train, the three center cars were carrying ammunition. So when the train derailed the bombs, rockets plus other munitions exploded destroying the houses and businesses. MCUS - Man standing on the side of a hill looking at a once standing home that is now reduced to a pile of rubble. MCUS - Small fires are still burning and the military is in the town trying to salvage any remaining bombs that have not blown up. MLS - Flattened land with lumber scattered about.
