West Coast Rain, Mud and Snow Wreak Havoc Rain, snow and mud wreak havoc in many parts of the west coast. In the mountains, blizzards have halted trains and auto traffic, while in the lowlands, days of rain have washed out homes and buried autos under feet of mud. Flood waters (not very high) run past storefronts, parking meters. Man checks mailbox in front of home, flooding all around. Various shots flooding in suburban or small town area, car stuck in roadway. Various shots of civilians digging their cars and homes out of very high mud (from mudslide). In another area, snow is the problem. Army vehicles travel snowy roads and men shovel snow to aid those affected by the blizzard. A plow (train-plow?)works laboriously to clear railroad tracks.
