It will enable us to face the uncertainties of an explosive International situation, with the knowledge that we can be strong militarily without having to imperil our security economically. No matter how long the present world tension may continues, and it will permit us there after to continue strong militarily, in keeping with our great purpose of promoting the peace of the world".
