'Post' Opens New Plant In dedication attended by state and national celebrities, the Denver Post's great new building is opened. The building is architecturally significant, one of just a handful of local examples of the 1940s art modern style of architecture. This style featured streamlined facades accented with glass blocks and geometric patterns. The Denver Post has an American flay hanging from the roof top going down on one wall. The American Flag is sporting 48 stars.
