And that was reflected in terms of our interests, too. We had been working in a two guitar format for so long and it was boring." Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins discusses briefly how the band pared down from seven to three members. The Thompson Twins (Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie, Joe Leeway) perform new wave, electro-dance song, "Watching." Alannah Currie more or less reiterates what Tom said, touting the musical benefits of the split. Alannah Currie says she joined the band in 1980, that she wasn't interested in recording, just playing live; says she gave up the saxophone for percussion in 1982; says she likes to use anything for percussive effect. More footage of Thompson Twins performing "Watching" is intercut with interviews. Joe Leeway recounts having a hard time in the recording studio until Tom recommended playing a big hand drum. The Thompson Twins continue performing new wave 80s electro dance song, "Watching."

Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins says, "We wrote down that we wanted to have a hit single and sell an album on both sides of the Atlantic, which we're doing. It's all happening exactly as we planned. I think that arises out of the fact that our musical ideas is dance-orientation, the combination of technology & ancient percussion ideas. It was so simple. We had a vision we put into operation." Joe Leeway of the Thompson Twins likes being unknown in the United States, while Tom says that's part of the reason they're here.
