Sports: Track And Field Upset. AT THE N.Y.A.C. GAMES IN NEW YORK. Miler Jim Beatty comes from obscurity to win a photo-finish upset victory over America's number one miler, Dyrol Burleson, the upset of the season. Hayes Jones wins an historic double in the sixty yard hurdles and sprint events. Indoor track and field meet. Spectators applaud. African American athlete (apparently Jones) hold up his fingers in V for victory (or peace) sign. A group of five Caucasian men in tuxedos, all in a row, watch the action, their heads turning in unison. Very close finish in running race -- Beatty comes from behind to win at the last second. Crowd seems excited. Winner (white guy) holds trophy and smiles.
