Rocket Report: President Inspects Missile Test Center As controversy over America's defense status mounts, Ike pays his first visit to the missile test center at Cape Canaveral, a personal inspection by the commander-in-chief of the nation's mightiest defense 'hardware'. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, uniformed men, and others check out missiles, including (according to the VO) the new Pershing missile.
