Sports: Golden Gloves Golden Gloves sub-novice heavyweights in a series of full-steam-ahead slugfests at Sunnyside Gardens. More than solid knockout studs this sequence of pier six brawls in the squared circle, in which spirit and muscles make do for skill. Boxing, crowds. TKO. Boxer knocks mouthpiece out of opponent's mouth. C/As individuals in the crowd get excited, spectators urge the boxers on. Interesting men's fashion, haircuts [a few men look something like "greasers" with their hairstyle and jackets]. Some tough bouts and some knockouts. One boxer knocks opponent down flat, then walks back over as if to see if he's all right. Mix of Caucasian and African American athletes.
