Sports: Monte Carlo Rally. Nearly a hundred cars start the grueling mountain run of the Monte Carlo rally, 357 miles of arduous driving over the winding, twisting, icy and treacherous roads. The winners, sweeping the first 3 places, are German teams. Night and day shots. Snow on ground, roads look icy. All sorts of views: POV out back window of other cars driving, subjective driver's POV through front windshield, sharp turns, etc. Dangerous. Interior view, gloved hands turn steering wheel. Comic shots (staged) of how the race interferes with life as cars squeal past barbershop, wedding ceremony, etc. Tilt up front grill to Mercedes Benz hood ornament.
