Sports: Soviet and German Gymnasts Vie. A near upset as German gymnasts hold heavily favored Soviet contestants to a surprisingly narrow 6-point margin. In each event, champions show their finest in a series of awesome performances. Performances, and cut-aways to members of audience watching, applauding. Head-on shot as male gymnast vaults, lands well. Graceful performance on parallel bars. Rings routine - very muscular arms. Man on a single horizontal bar.
