Riviera Floods: Hundreds Die As Dam Bursts Near Cannes on the French Riviera. The world's thinnest dam proves unequal to the burden of a river swollen by torrential rains. It breaks and a wall of water smashes down the valley of the Reyran River, bringing havoc and desolation. Aerial of river and dam. Aerials of flooded landscape, including derailed train cars. More destruction and damage in the aftermath of the flood.
