Plane Crash: 1 Survives, 26 Die In Blue Ridge Disaster. An intensive search for an airliner missing with 27 aboard ends just as hope is almost abandoned. The missing craft is found on a densely forested ledge in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with only one aboard still alive, the lone survivor trapped in the wreckage in a 36 hour ordeal. Wreckage of airplane in forested area. Rescue workers carry out injured man (survivor) on stretcher, then also dead bodies. Bodies are loaded into station wagon-type car with emergency vehicle light atop it (not sure if this is real or makeshift ambulance). Glitch in tape in the middle of this clip.
