New Landing Lights At Dow Air Force Base, Maine, the U.S. Air Force tests a new all-weather landing system, using high-intensity 'narrow gauge' lights to identify the runway for a test jet coming down in dense fog! The result a perfect, on-the-beam approach. Nifty (staged?) scene of man in uniform (officer?) showing airmen (?) in jumpsuits a model of the new lighted landing strip; the officer (?) gestures with a wooden pointer. Air-to-air and subjective (POV) shots of plane landing in fog with bright lights along runway.
