Berlin On Ultimatum Date Scenes of West Berlin on the deadline date set 6 months ago by Soviet Premier Khrushchev for Allied forces to get out of Berlin show the ultimatum period passed without crisis. Business is as usual in the free city, except that flags everywhere (from various nations) are at half mast in tribute to Mr. John Foster Dulles. Street scenes, auto traffic, pedestrians, sign: "You are leaving the American sector." Train pulls into station; sign on wall says "Berlin". Military vehicles pass sign, "For the next 2 miles you will be in the Soviet zone - Do not stop."
