Santa Anita Derby C. V. Whitney's unbeaten filly, Silver Spoon - with jockey Ray York in the irons - wins the $147,300 Santa Anita derby. Ryola Orbit was second. Fightin' Indian third. Silver Spoon looks like a sure-thing for the Kentucky Derby. Horse race. One spectator in the crowd jumps up and down, presumably urging on a horse.
