AVALANCHE LOOMS OVER SWISS HAMLET A massive accumulation of rock and ice is inching its way down the mountainside to destroy the village at the foot of the mountain. For days it has been hovering ominously over the Swiss Alpine hamlet which has been evacuated by its inhabitants. Many of them have taken up watch from a nearby mountain top to witness the dreaded moment that is drawing near, with thaws increasing. Scenes of snowy mountain, small village. A few shots of landslides in progress, earth moving, a tree sliding downhill. People in village looking up, apparently toward the mountains.
