Speed Skating Championships Lake Como, at St. Paul, is the setting for the national speed skating championships. For both male and female. Thrills, close to clover, are provided in every category. With topnotches Jeanne Omelenchuk and Kenny Bartholomew defending their titles against formidable contenders. First, children race. Some competitors fall; woman falls and buries her head, sliding in shame. Each winner smiles for the camera.
