Autos Burned. In New York City, where some 600 wrecked and abandoned autos a day are burned by the city, a new smokeless furnace goes into service, with a special chamber to eliminate one source of air pollution. Auto wreckers, scrap metal, junkyard. Machine lifts and moves old broken-down car for the wrecking process. Car on fire -- looks like nighttime shots.
