Motor-bike Hill Climb The national hill climbing championships at Modesto, California, offer one of the most thrilling motorcycle competitions to come along the pike. Handle bar jockeys battle their way up a steer and steep canyon wall in a desperate effort to reach the top. Sports. Man in a white beret waves checkered flag with great enthusiasm. Great shot - man riding uphill is thrown backwards off his motorcycle, which flips over, and rider slides/rolls down the steep hill. More wipeouts, spills, bloopers. Pretty funny. One rider successfully crosses the finish line. Others get almost to it and then lose control. Checkered flag man again, another man in referee-type striped shirt next to him, looking downhill.
