Carrier Tragedy. A moment of pride turns to horror, as Britain's newest carrier jet fighter-bomber lands on HMS Victorious, and goes over the side when the arresting gear snaps. The pilot is trapped under the plastic canopy, with a rescue helicopter only feet away, within sight of the carrier, as the plane drags him down to death before hundreds of helpless onlookers. Large ship at sea moving through water. Plane landing on deck of ship. Aircraft in water, waves washing over it. Helicopter with S on front hovers over water, man hanging from it, sometimes dipping into the water. Rescue effort, attempt.
