Baseball: Spring Training (Dodgers). The Brooklyn Dodgers, at Vero Beach, get in shape for a crack at a 3rd straight pennant. Visiting Japanese players and rookie talent lends new interest to the scene. The Dodgers run onto the practice field. Pitchers warm up, including Don Newcombe, Carl Erskine, Sal Maglie, Fred Kipp. Other players featured at training include Don Zimmer and Charlie Neal (fielding), Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider (batting), also manager Walter Alston. Dodgers president Walter O'Malley talks with Japanese visitors (some of whom wear baseball uniforms).
