Sports: AAU Track Meet. A.A.U. track meet at Madison Square Garden features top competition on the boards. Highlight of several thrilling events shown is the mile race, where Ron Delany blazes in a sprint finish that leaves Dwyer and Tabori trailing and sets a new meet record of 4:07. 60-yard dash; Ira somebody from Western Michigan wins. 60-yard hurdles: Lee Calhoun ties world record time. Reverend Bob Richards pole vaults. Mile run. Each of the winners gets the chance to smile for the camera (well, Delany's smile is pretty minimal). Alt spelling for search purposes: Ron Delaney.
