Sports: Fistic Fireworks. "Youthful aspirants for boxing glory slug it out in first-round matches of the Golden Gloves. Plenty of scrappy action and knock-outs to keep ringsiders on the edge of their seats." Nice low angle shot of one boxer falling toward camera, getting back up. Shot of handful of young men in audience, quite enthusiastic spectators, cheering excitedly. Boxer knocks down Carlos Rodriguez (?), who falls under the ropes and hangs off the edge of the ring, a picture of defeat. Linwood Watson (?) versus Arthur Jones (?); they each knock each other down then finally Watson (in white shorts) loses.
