March Of Dimes: Lollipops and Tots Open Drive. "Famed clown Emmett Kelly entertains a crowd of airmen's youngsters including 4 year old Marlene Olsen, 1957 March of Dimes poster girl, as the anti-polio campaign for this year is launched." Scratchy film. Clown bursts through a large circular sign that says 1957 March of Dimes. Kelly entertains with stunts like balancing a quill-type feather on his nose; children watch with smiles. Little girl walks with braces and crutches due to polio.
