Cotton Bowl. TCU (Texas Christian University) upsets Syracuse, 28-27, despite a fantastic show by the Oranges' one-man gang, Jimmy Brown. Jim Brown runs for touchdown. TCU quarterback (Chuck Curtis?) finds no open receivers and runs with the ball, and does the same for a score. Nice pass by Curtis, and then another play where he runs in for TD. Nice reception by Syracuse for another score.
