Nearing completion outside Tokyo is a 102 foot statue of Buddha, the largest in Japan, and perhaps the world. The huge idol dwarfs the sculptors, still at work after nearly two years. MCUS - Camera panning the Buddha from top to the bottom showing two demure figures chiseling away. MLS - Sculptor and his assistant working on the Buddha. MCUS - The artist sculptor working away wearing a large brim straw hat. MWLS - Buddha standing at the edge of the quarry.
