Football: Michigan State 14, Purdue 7. Michigan State holds its top rank among the nation's teams beating Purdue, 14-7. Michigan State QB runs with the ball. Passing play. Rushing by Don McAuliffe, who scores. Wow - Michigan State quarterback, #41, evades several attempts at a sack and gets a pass off, for a gain of yardage - quite an amazing play. Black dog frolics on the football field amid players and referees. That clever quarterback again (Usick??) dodges defenders and runs in for TD - only to have the ball knocked away, but the fumble is recovered for a touchdown. The game might have been low scoring but it seems pretty exciting.
