News in Brief: California, Flower Fantasia. In the service of charity, a showing of fabulous floral headpieces, huge, colorful, ornate, beguiling and stunning in their size and intricacy. Nice shot of a simple-looking sign that reads "Children's Hospital" - looks generic enough to be anywhere. Women model ridiculous, ostentatious headpieces (with things like birdcages hanging off of them - one even looks like a peacock, appropriately; one is supposed to be a flying saucer!).
