Korea: Bloody Battles Rage for Strategic Ridges. "Savage action marks the fighting for strategic hills ringing Seoul. Mortar fire is conducted around the clock and casualties mount steadily as South Koreans stubbornly defend their positions." Korean soldiers carrying some kind of arms (shells?) run up a hill. Close shot, a shell is passed along for loading. Soldier fires shells from sandbagged position; man on field telephone is in frame. Many empty shell casings are tossed over a hill into a pile. One soldier points while another looks through binoculars. VO says newsreel cameraman was wounded taking these pictures (no wounded are shown). LSs of the hills, some smoke evident from the battle.
