Football: Michigan State 48, Syracue 7. The Michigan State Spartans hold their top-ranking position, trampling Syracuse, 48-7. Lopsided victory. Syracuse punts, and Michigan State's #11 (Ellis?) returns the punt for a touchdown. #40, Don McAuliffe, gains a lot of yardage on running play; next down he scores. Male cheerleaders bow along the sidelines, as if to say, "We're not worthy!" McAuliffe is a good pass receiver too. #39 runs in for TD.
