Shaky, jumpy light / dark contrast and imagery, drop out spots Kurt Bjorkvall. Laciturn Swedish flier, takes off for his native land on a 1,300-mile ocean hop, but his fair-haired flying-partner, talkative baroness Eve von Bixen-Fineeke is left behind. Bjorkvall lands in the sea off the Irish coast and is picked up by a French trawler. (No shot of the downed plane in ocean)
