Light in imagery, blurry images Daredevil riders, dragged by powerful cycles, wind up the treacherous course of the mountain trail at the annual meet, held in the province of Syria. Records and contestants fall as the fearless athletes battle along the corkscrew road in the heart of the simmering alps, that proves a difficult route for the ambitious entrants. Built by Russian prisoners of war, the highway is the scene of a race replete with spills and thrills, as the continent's greatest sportsmen vie for the highest honors.
