High contrast, dull imagery, shaky Rescue ships of the British navy after a four-day vigil locate the unfortunate submarine in which 61 men, entombed in the underwater vessel, went to their deaths. The icy wastes of the English Channel conceal the terrible tragedy, and led by the Adamant, which commanded the search, a long column of battleships and submarines participate in an impressive memorial service for the deceased unsung heroes.
