Story begins with a CU of the Cleveland Arena marquee that reads " McGovern-Kennedy Here Tonight". Camera pulls back to show the Arena facade and an African-American reporter standing in front of it. The reporter starts out by saying that McGovern has added the support of Edward Kennedy in hopes of boosting the momentum of his presidential campaign. He goes on to say that it is vital for McGovern to win the vote of Ohio if plans to win the election.
