"Ninety cents for an Eisenhower dollar" is the cry heard from salesman at the table. A streetcorner salesman has a little business set up in front of a storefront selling Eisenhower dollar coins. People hand the man a dollar bill, he gives them ten cents and an Eisenhower coin in return. A reporter interviews the man and asks him if he is having any trouble selling the coins. Man states that people are a little skeptical, but they are selling well. He then relates a story about a woman from Washington State who said that she cannot use the coin there. The man stops his interview and goes directly from this story back to his sales pitch without taking a breath. A young woman purchases the coin. She is wearing a trendy wavy patterned top for the 70s. Reporter brings up the suspicious buyer again. Man states that people do not believe the coin is real. Reporter asks how the buyer can prove its authenticity. Man states that he has sent some buyers to the National City (bank) to see if the coin is real.
