County Sheriff Ralph Krieger seated at desk, defending local law enforcement agencies accused of corruption by a story in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. While he thinks methods the Cleveland Plain Dealer used to get the story need to be cleared up, he has asked the auditor of the state of Ohio to audit the Sheriff's Department, and has invited investigation of the County Prosecutor and any other department warranting investigation. Off-screen male reporter asks about the accusation against an employee of the Sheriff's Department working overtime to promote a barbecue; Krieger says the accusation is false, considering the employee in question was on leave of absence at the time, and all employees are evaluated at the end of the year, as is the amount of overtime pay left in the budget.
