American flags) laughing and chatting before the parade. 01:03:03:- MS OJH cheerleaders running through routine before parade. 01:07:42:- wide MS VFW veterans & color guard marching, followed by D.A.R.E kids and van. 01:08:47:- MS two girls riding on Corvette convertible; they wave to cam. Oregon ambulances follow suit. 01:09:20:- MSs people sitting on sidewalk, watching the parade. Great shots of kids waving. 01:10:14:- wide MS Oregon Fire Dept on parade. 01:10:26:- MS white Mustang w/ sign: CITIZEN OF THE YEAR. They play, but they have no reason to... fun w/ atonality. 01:17:19:- MS OJHS cheerleaders performing on Main St. Their 14 yr old happiness generates catcalls. 01:20:31:- wide MS tractor-driven skunk float: WE'LL SKUNK THE MILLIES. 01:21:02:- MS 1915 Ford on parade. 01:21:11:- MS Mt. Morris beauty queens lookin' purty on a patriotic float. LET FREEDOM RING. 01:21:50:- tight LS OHS cheerleading squad performing on Main St. And there's a boy among the bunch. 01:23:40:- MS pickup truck filled w/ hillbilly junk and, well, hillbillies. Silly. 01:24:40:- MS's Gubelman political entry. MSs Gubelman pulling his 2 kids in a wagon: VOTE FOR MY DADDY. 01:27:27:- MSs kids sitting on curb, watching parade. 01:27:53:- MS of the John Nelson for Senate entry. 01:28:12:- MS several large touring motorcycles w/ sidecars and flags. Some also have large teddy bears. 01:30:15:- END OF PART ONE BREAK IN TBC (also note part of part two uses the same time code as part one; please be specific) 01:00:18:- MSs hillbilly junk truck, still and in motion. CU sticker on truck: HAVE A NICE FOREVER. 02:00:00:- tight LS Oregon Cub Scouts Pack 81 on parade. Boy Scouts, Webelos and Tiger Scouts, too. 02:01:01:- wide MS Special Olympics parade entry. 02:01:15:- tLS of the LOUIE THE LIGHTNING BUG float. Some guy in a silly glow bug suit waving to kids. 02:01:45:- wide MS of a terrible high school band playing what sounds like a funeral march. 02:03:50:- MS Franklin Grove Brownie Troop float. An autumn theme. 02:04:24:- MS Rock River Valley Girl Scouts on parade. Brownies, too. 02:05:35:- MS orange-haired clown & his goose-puppet entertaining kids on parade route. 02:05:59:- MS/CUs kids and parents sitting on curb, watching and waving. 02:06:25:- MS autumn-themed float on which adults clod dance, er, tap dance. 02:07:34:- MS rubber suit clown (the kind where it looks like he's walking on his hands but really isn't). 02:07:52:- MS large rubber elephant dancing in the street. More CUs kids. 02:09:30:- MS of another middle school band (w/ color guard) marching. 02:13:35:- Weird MS rowdy young men in baseball hats & tank tops, yelling & holding state political race signs. 02:14:35:- MS tourster motorcycle, the driver and rider dressed like Mickey and Minnie Mouse. 02:15:06:- MS/CUs people watching the parade. Kids and adults. Small town America. 02:16:26:- tight LS Stillman Valley marching band. 02:20:21:- more CU's of kids waving and smiling from the sidelines of fun. 02:20:48:- MS VFW man driving a white mini-locomotive car. A much larger version follows. 02:21:45:- MS three beauty queens (in tiaras & sashes) riding on a Dodge convertible. 02:22:09:- tight LS King's School marching band and cheerleaders. 02:22:43:- MS Knights of Columbus marching. Fancy hats, sabers and capes. 02:23:37:- traveling MS crowd sitting on curb along parade route. 02:25:25:- MS decommissioned army vehicles on parade. 02:26:13:- MS of yet another marching band w/ color guard. 02:27:21:- MS of two boys collecting and crushing aluminum cans. 02:27:51:- more wide MS's of marching bands. 02:30:19:- wide MS of shriners wearing fez hats and driving the mini-cars they are so reknowned to do. Excellent. 02:31:30:- MS of the local Lion's Club float (including man in bright yellow lion suit). 02:31:55:- MS of the Oregon HS marching band.
