Greater Sales For Greater Profit in Exhaust System Aftermarket
Another Bernie Howard film about aftermarket mufflers and exhaust systems. Narrated by Sid Collins. On behalf of Arvin Muffler and Exhaust Company. Opens with montage of cars driving on highways, day and night. Numerous colorful Arvin product shots. A lengthy visit to the Arvin manufacturing plant in Indiana: good industrial footage of mufflers and tail pipes being made (assembly line, production, et al). Shots of scientists in white labcoats milling about in the acoustic research lab (good shots of computers and research equipment). Nice MS of a man filling the gas tanlk of his car, followed by nifty superimposition montage of nightlife in the city: neon signs, traffic lights, headlights , cars, etc. Product shots of ironing boards, record players and BBQ grills, complete with the requisite showroom beauty modeling the goods and wares.
