Note: there are several identical answer prints of this film, labelled A, B and C. Shot, like all Interviews of the Century, at Union Station in Chicago, Illinois. Interviews with French wrestler Maurice Telle, ( a real freaky looking guy with a huge head and cauliflower ears, yet nonetheless a very charming man; he also puts the host, Bob Eston, in a much-deserved bear hug). Also: Gene Damon of Belgium (a schoolteacher who works with Jewish children) and Leon Ames, star of the play "The Moon is Blue"; also a Hollywood character actor.

ON PREVIEW TAPE 991537 XXX The Homko Lawnmower people go Hollywood in a crudely animated corporate/sales film. Curvy Hollywood starlet tries all the lawnmowers, but Homko's is so perfect for the scene that she winds up on the cutting room floor and the lawnmower becomes the star of the picture. Also features a beatnik on a riding mower. Charming. Great color.
Built-in Termite Control
Sales film about controlling termites with pesticides, by filling the ground around the house with chemicals. Great shots of termites eating away. Fetal transfusions: a scary-sounding medical film from the 1950s from Murray Morison Productions. Pregnancy. Filmed at the University of Michigan medical Center. Open with shots of a baby being born, CU on bloody baby. Charts, graphs and technical explanations. Good shot of instruments laid out on tray. CU transfusion needle. Radiologist reading X-rays. Imaging equipment, blood testing, centrifuge, flouriscopic scan used to determine fetal position, taking heartbeat of fetus. Woman's belly is prepared for anesthetic. Teflon catheter is inserted in her belly. Shots of fetus on imaging screen )hard to see). Blood supply is connected to tubing and drawn through syringe. CU blood cells of infant and adult are compared. Film ends with shot of sleeping baby.
