ON PREVIEW CASSETTE # 991537 G Fade in on long shot aerial landscape with Skamper trailer on the road. Main title FI and rotates. Cut to Eldon Lundquist as the TravelMAster, about to lead a covoy of campers to the campsite, gives a high-sign and starts the convoy moving. Aerial shot as the group pulls into a side road. Eldy describes different units as they pass the camera. Aerial as the units pull off the road, and camera zooms in to a huge sign THIS IS SKAMPER COUNTRY. The units line up in a circle around the display and the plane circles the group. Eldy stands by the sign, an waves up to the aerial camera. Cut to ground shot, Eldy, looking around. A fold-down unit is unfolded, and the side walls pulled out to form a large tent on the trailer body. Cut to man with dog walking into a full trailer 10' truck mount unit. Eldy inside, points out the interior featurres, ice chest, etc. Eldy emerges from the unit, and a woman artist, panting a picture, and her husband, are seen beside another unit. ON PREVIEW CASSETTE #991477 Fade in on Mark Thomas playing the flute in a room with classic flute player painting on the wall over the fireplace. FI titles. Mark sits down, and cut to ECU Mark: he puts tghe flute down and starts his lecture by pulling cleaning rod and soft cloth out of the case and threads the cloth through the cleaning rod. He reverses the rod, and camera goes to ECU mark on the cleaning rod. He shows how this mark should appear in the blow-hole, to tune the flute properly. Mark picks up light weight flannel cloth to polish it. Use no abrasive, he warns. He polishes the head joint with the cloth. He picks up flute body and shows the fingering mechanism. He points out lubrication points. He next inserts the head joint into the body. CU Mark's face. He adjust head joint and aligns the instrument. Pull back to LS, and he leans over to hit A-440 pitch tone bar. He shows how to adjust the pitch. He assembles the foot joint to the body. CU his fingers holding the flute properly. Cut to painting of flute player as camera moves to show how Mark matches the boy in the painting. LS as he stands, puts the flute down, and sits. He demonstrates an exercise--hands on legs forces him to use the diaphgragm muscles. ECU his face. MS as he explains breath control. Title EMBOUCHURE supers, as Mark explains, pointing to his lips. He blows through small straw to practice. ECU lips with and without straw. MS as he puts down straw, move to ECU his face as he points to jaw position. Finger across bottom lip. His hands demonstrate the air flow. Full head: he touches upper lip and then bottom lip, and then pracrtices with finger on lower lip. Shows chin and jaw functions, re the flute blowhole. CU his mouth with two fingers at corners; demo of mouth and flute embouchure. LS as he removes head joint and places it to his lips. Replaces the head joint. Puts flute down. Mark stands up and moves to flute display on the wall. He explains attack, using the word PURE (supered) and shortens it to PU, then to DU, or TU, each illustrated. He illustrrates with yawn, the relaxed jaw. Picks up flute, and plays 4th line of D natural. Cautions against moving head or flute out of line. He sits and places flute on left shoulder, and looks at fingering chart. CU face. Mark now demonstrates several flutes. first the C, which he has been holding, then the bass flute in C, the alto in G, the little E flat soprano and the piccolo in C. Mark stands at fireplace, moves toward camera, discusses single and double tongue atack. Art work illustrates this, with staffs, and finally the triple tongue, TU, DU etc. Back to Mark holding flute, illustrating flutter tonguing. He demonstrates. VIBRATO title as Mark explains that this is frosting to the cake. He plays tone without vibrato; then with vibrato. Illustrates diaphrargm support and vocal box use. Mark coughs into flute, then plays connected crutch, and increases the tempo. Camera zooms to metronome at 72. ECU Mark face, MS. He plays a sample of "America". Still on vibrato. Cut to statue of the god Pan, the first famous flutist. Claude Debussy's SYRINX music placed beside Pan. Final statement by Mark, and ECU his face. He turns to fireplace and lights the fire, as end titles come on. Fire starts, he picks up flute, and plays the Claude Debussey piece. Camera closes in on PAN and the fire in the BG, and fades to black. 900' 16mm color sound film on gray plastic reel in 1200' brown plastic shipping case with "W.T.Armstrong FLUTE PLAYING: A Study with MARK THOMAS: and Frink Film Studio" embossed on the case. Wheelabrator's new shotting process to produce uniform steel shot for industrial blast cleaning "Cut in on a view through the manhole to the water flowing through thepit where a Wheelaberator blast wheel will break up a flow of molten steel into many circular pellets (Like BB's) of varying sizes, whihc will then be screened to sort, and later hardened into various type of steel shot for blast cleaning of parts in Wheelaberator shot blast machines. Cut in on the cauldron where the molten steel will be poured. As the cauldron is lifted out we see the action of the water and the rotation of the pot. Camera circles it to show the interior. Pull back to LS of the under-the-floor operation; the water pit where the steel shot is cooled, and the ladle area. Cut to LS as the molten steel in the electric arc furnace, pouring down a long tube into the now white-hot pit. LS of the molten metal pouring inot the pot. Many sparks, and the flow of molten particles from the blast whel. CU the molten steel shot forming balls as it is Wheelberated. Man tests the temperature of the molten metal. CU sparks as the pellets are formed in the air and fall into the water. Detail of the spinning action as the balls are formed. LS of workmen on the floor watching and working the melt. CU the cauldron and pit, the pot and the flowing metal particles. Pull back to LS, and to men studying the flow. Down to the molten metal and flying pellets. Pull back to LS of the electric furnace, the men, the pit. CU molten steel flowing. CU metal pouring into the pot. LS as the melt is completed. LS fiery pit and zoom into the metal particles. CU molten metal steel pouring into the ladle. CU hand holding the metal balls. CU magnet lifting the pellets out of the solution. Workman displays the finished mix of varying sized pellets. CU of the magnet holding the particles from the water bath." Frink has original reversal footage, and some ancillary material and that is all. This film was never edited, and a soundtrack was never made. Some components were used in other Frink films regarding the Wheelaberator Steel Shot Blast Cleaning process.

Transition to Orbo-resonant cleaning unit, with 100 to 300 vibrations per second, induced by vibrating a steel beam at its resonant frequency, for interior cleaning of automobile transmission and differential parts, and similar. An Orbo-resonant machine at Racine Rex in Racine, WI, cleans interior passages of valve bodies. Camera shows parts immersed in twin tubs of media, as vibrations fluidize the media and clean the parts.
