Last Stand: Hungary Fights On As Thousands Flee
This is the death of Liberty in Budapest from 15 Red Armor Divisions that poured into Hungary patriots fight to the last man, they attempt to eradicate hated Soviet books and flags before being ground under the iron heel of Russian soldiers or being exiled into Siberia. While there is still time both Hungarian soldiers and civilians flock to the Austrian border and the freedom they have bought so dearly. More than 10,000 succeed reaching the haven.
